How NBL Blitz works?

Learn how scoring works, how standings update, and how the winner is decided.

Game Format

Each team will play two games at the 2025 NBL Blitz in Canberra. Standings are updated after every game using the following points system.

Scoring

3 points: Winning team
‍1 point: Team wins each quarter
‍0.5 points: Each team win for a drawn quarter

Note: Overtime periods are excluded from points bonuses.

Standing

Standings will be updated nightly at nblblitz.com.au

Awarding

Top team wins will be awarded the Loggins-Bruton Cup. Most Valuable Player will receive the Ray Borner Medal.
